BW2V team members in APPDSA 2018

On 14th and 15th May 2018, Asia-Pacific Peace and Development Service Alliance (APPDSA 2018), two days’ workshop on “Moral and Innovative Leadership for Sustainable Development and Kathmandu forum on Green and Smart Cities” was held in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal. Jointly Organized by Global Peace Foundation (GPF, Nepal), IBM India and Global Youth Leadership Academy (GYLA), the workshop aimed to develop the moral and innovative leadership for Sustainable Development, empowering youth to achieve Smart and Green Cities. The forum brought together a diverse group of the students, youth leaders, and young professionals from in and out of the country, where BW2V also had taken an active participation as a supporting partner of the entire program. Members of BW2V participated in both the leadership workshop and Kathmandu forum. In addition, BW2V displayed the stall with their products: Kabaadi app at your doorstep, which is an utility mobile application to sell the recyclable waste in systematic way and other handicrafts like paper and plastic products, made out of wastes. Mr. Nabin Bikash Maharjan, CEO of BW2V gave the closing speech at APPDSA sharing his experience of work in the field of waste since last 20 years and also, regarding the engagement of youth in leadership and achieving smart cities.
