National College introduces complete waste management system in their premises
Kathmandu National College newly introduced the complete waste management system in their own premises with the help of Blue Waste to Value team. 13th March 2018 they hosted the Nepal and Japan project fellow program, where BW2V honored for allotment about Blue Waste to Value (BW2V), its working system, waste management systems, recycling technique, composting and site visit of BW2V working area.
The session was very interactive and the both country’s participants shared the waste management system in the context of their own country. International Japanese students shared their waste management system and Nepalese students shared the obstacles they are facing in waste management like that they segregate all the waste in sources but the waste collector collect all the waste in mixed form there is lack of management system in waste from grassroot level. In this context, BW2V manager Mr. Ashish Khanal gave solution to manage the waste within house and also he added the waste policies and implementation part of waste management of Nepal. He explained about the challenges that has faced by the implementer in waste management.
All this 2 hour interaction session will benefit all fellows of Nepal and Japan project to execute their target in future. BW2V would like to thank National College for sharing and coordinating the platform with us.
