Talk- Program on Solid Waste Management given to Kathmandu University students

For students to become competent graduates, it is important to understand what is happening in the actual field. Thus, with an objective to show career opportunities to the students of Environmental Science, Blue Waste to Value was invited as a guest speaker at the seminar "A Look into the Future: Environmental Science". The talk program was organized by Nature and Social Concern Society (NSCS) at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel on 1st February, 2019.
The audience included students of B.Sc. Environmental Science from 1st year to 4th year, and KU faculties. Guest speakers from Tribhuwan University, Abhinyantra Consultancy, and Digo Bikash Institute were also present. From BW2V, Manashree Newa and Ahana Shrestha presented the prospects in Solid Waste Management sector and the activities of BW2V. The activities of BW2V were well received by the audience, and the enthusiasm of young students was outstanding as well. Talk-programs like these are certainly very important and effective as it motivates new generation to work with much eagerness.
