Training session on Integrated Hotel Waste Management at Kathmandu Marriott Hotel

On the 11th July 2019, BW2V conducted a training session on Integrated Hotel Waste Management for the hotel staff of Kathmandu Marriott Hotel where Blue Waste to Value have recently started to provide waste management services. Handover of Bin and Hoarding Board Shankharapur Municipality

In coordination with Shankharapur Municipality, BW2V is setting up integrated waste management system in the municipality office by portraying company’s model for local people. The first steps were carried out on 8 July, when our company initiated a program to deliver the required bins and hoarding boards. For this, Mr. Nabin Bikash Maharjan, CEO of BW2V, handed over a total of 31 bins and 10 hoarding boards to Mr. Surbarna Shrestha, Mayor of Shankharapur Municipality.

BW2V and YSETC seek to provide a solution to Used Lead Acid Batteries

About 24,000 tonnes of Used Lead Acid Batteries (ULAB) were produced in Nepal in 2015. This shocking figure is largely due to the efficiency and affordability of this type of variety (ie. vehicles batteries, solar batteries, inverters), what makes of it an endogenous mean to store electricity. However, when no disposed and treated properly, the acid of this batteries poses serious risks to our health and the environment surrounding us. Some of these risks include adverse effects on the nervous systems, renal systems, bone functionand vitamin D metabolism, reproductive health and blood presure, among others.
